What We Cover in Each Key Stage
🔹 Key Stage 1 (Reception–Year 2)
At this early stage, we focus on building strong foundations in reading and writing.
We support children with:
Phonics and early reading skills
Spelling and handwriting
Vocabulary building
Sentence formation and basic punctuation
Reading comprehension through stories and simple texts
Our aim is to help young learners develop confidence, enjoyment, and secure early literacy skills.
🔹 Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6)
In upper primary, students expand their reading, writing, and analytical abilities.
We help with:
Fluent reading and comprehension
Grammar, punctuation, and spelling (GPS)
Planning and writing stories, reports, letters, and explanations
Understanding themes, characters, and language in texts
SATs preparation and exam technique

🔹 Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9)
As students move into secondary school, expectations grow. We assist with:

🔹 Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11, GCSE)

Transactional writing (articles, speeches, letters)
