Maths
Welcome to our Maths tutoring programme, where building confidence and long-term understanding is at the heart of what we do. We offer high-quality, personalised support aligned with the UK curriculum, tutoring children from Reception age all the way up to GCSE.
Our team of experienced tutors creates engaging, structured lessons that strengthen core mathematical skills while encouraging problem-solving and independent thinking. Whether your child needs help catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead, we provide clear explanations, patient guidance, and proven strategies that lead to real progress.
With consistent support and tailored teaching, we help students develop the confidence and capability they need to succeed in Maths and beyond.
What We Cover in Each Key Stage
🔹 Key Stage 1 (Reception–Year 2)
At this early stage, we build strong foundations in number skills and mathematical understanding.
We support children with:
Counting, number recognition, and early place value
Addition and subtraction using concrete and visual methods
Introduction to multiplication and division concepts
Shapes, space, and simple measures
Problem-solving through practical activities
Our goal is to develop confidence and enjoyment in Maths from the very beginning.
🔹 Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6)
In upper primary, we help students build fluency and tackle more complex concepts.
We cover:
Secure addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Fractions, decimals, and percentages
Times tables mastery
Geometry, area, perimeter, and measures
Worded problems and reasoning skills
SATs preparation and exam techniques
We support children in becoming confident, accurate, and independent mathematicians.
🔹 Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9)
As students move into secondary school, mathematical thinking becomes more sophisticated.
We help with:
Algebraic manipulation and equations
Fractions, indices, and standard form
Ratio, proportion, and percentages
Geometry, angles, and transformations
Probability and statistics
Strengthening reasoning and problem-solving techniques
This stage builds the essential foundations needed for strong GCSE performance.
🔹 Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11, GCSE)
At GCSE level, we support students in both Foundation and Higher tiers of Maths.
We cover:
Algebra, graphs, and functions
Geometry, trigonometry, and mensuration
Number skills, proportional reasoning, and financial maths
Probability and statistics
Interpreting and solving multi-step problems
Past papers, exam strategies, and targeted revision
