SCIENCE
Welcome to our Science tutoring programme, where curiosity, confidence, and understanding come together. We provide personalised, high-quality support aligned with the UK curriculum, tutoring students from Reception age all the way up to GCSE.
Our team of dedicated tutors creates engaging, hands-on lessons that bring scientific ideas to life. Whether your child needs help grasping key concepts, building practical skills, or preparing for exams, we offer clear explanations, patient guidance, and structured learning that leads to real progress.
With strong foundations and consistent support, we help students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them โ and the scientific thinking skills they need for success.
What We Cover in Each Key Stage
๐น Key Stage 1 (ReceptionโYear 2)
At this stage, Science is all about curiosity, exploration, and simple investigation.
We support children with:
Observing and describing the natural world
Identifying plants, animals, and everyday materials
Exploring light, sound, and movement
Asking questions and developing early enquiry skills
Simple experiments and hands-on activities
Our goal is to nurture a love of discovery and build early scientific confidence.
๐น Key Stage 2 (Years 3โ6)
In upper primary, students begin to build stronger scientific knowledge and investigative skills.
We help with:
Plants, animals, humans, and habitats
Rocks, fossils, states of matter, and materials
Forces, electricity, light, and sound
Earth and space
Planning and carrying out scientific investigations
SATs preparation (where applicable)
We support students in developing clear understanding, critical thinking, and accurate scientific language.
๐น Key Stage 3 (Years 7โ9)
In lower secondary, Science becomes more detailed and structured across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
We help with:
Cells, body systems, reproduction, and ecology
Atoms, elements, compounds, chemical reactions
Forces, energy, waves, and electricity
Practical skills and lab-based understanding
Data analysis, graphing skills, and scientific enquiry
This stage builds strong foundations for GCSE Science, boosting confidence and clarity.
๐น Key Stage 4 (Years 10โ11, GCSE)
We support students studying GCSE Combined Science and GCSE Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics).
We cover:
Detailed content across all three sciences
Required practicals and key scientific techniques
Cell biology, genetics, ecology, and homeostasis
Chemical changes, bonding, energy changes, and quantitative chemistry
Electricity, forces, waves, energy, and particle models
Exam-style questions and mastery of assessment objectives
Past papers, revision planning, and exam strategies
Our aim is to strengthen understanding, improve grades, and build long-term analytical and problem-solving skills.
